OUR HISTORY
Cantine Leopardi is the result of a story that began in the 1950s, one of courage, sacrifice, and love for the land.
In those years, our great-grandparents and grandparents, along with their families, left the Marche region—from Porto Recanati (MC)—to move to Fauglia, Tuscany, in search of a better future. There, they purchased the historic Fattoria Ferrucci, with its land and buildings, and in 1950 founded the Cooperativa Leopardi: a project based on the union of several families who, working together, laid the foundations for a new life.
The cooperative cultivated grains, produced wine, and raised livestock, becoming a point of reference for the local area over the years. Over time, the cooperative's activities ended, but the families remained, as did the spirit of collaboration, mutual respect, and deep connection to this land.
In 2024, we continued that legacy by creating Cantine Leopardi. A company that combines tradition and innovation, new working methods and fresh ideas, with the solid foundations of authentic and genuine agriculture, inspired by the values of the past.
Our goal is to enhance the region, create synergies with local businesses, and build a relationship of trust with our customers. We aim to create quality products, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, capable of telling our story and satisfying the expectations of those who choose us.
Cantine Leopardi is, first and foremost, an emotional bond with the place where we were born and raised, a story that has lasted over 70 years and which we continue to write with an eye to the future, without forgetting our roots.
